As you can see, the article is written by Louisa May Alcott’s nephew, John Pratt Alcott, son of Anna and John Bridge Pratt. Louisa legally adopted him so that she could pass down her copyrights to the family. This article provides a rare and intimate glimpse of Louisa’s life and the lives of her family members.
What a treat that article is, thank you! You really get a feel for what it was like to grow up with Louisa as a constant presence.
