Merry Christmas, Susan! I hope you had an amazing holiday. And I can’t wait to see what you write in 2012. (A huge part of me hopes you’ll journal about Jane Eyre, though it has nothing to do with Louisa, so perhaps not. Still, surely Louisa read it… which could open up a whole new world for reviewing Louisa’s library… )

Funny you should mention that because the same thought occurred to me! It’s one of my New Year’s resolutions.
I had a wonderful Christmas, thank you. Got some nice books including the Steve Jobs bio and an absolutely awesome Civil War atlas. Who would think maps and map-making could be so interesting. Lots of terrific background, photos, bios, etc. And lots of time to read both while on vacation. 🙂
